How Spark Erosion Works

No Physical Contact: The tool electrode and the metal piece never touch each other.

Dielectric Fluid: Both parts sit submerged in a special liquid oil or fluid that acts as an insulator and a resistor.

Electrical Discharges: Controlled DC voltage creates tiny, rapid sparks that jump the microscopic gap, blasting away tiny bits of metal.

Flushing: The fluid washes away the tiny eroded metal particles (soot) to prevent short circuits
